Ron Paul CA Print Ads

Organized by Californians for Ron Paul

Final draft of the Final ad!
It's hard to believe that we've already placed four successive ads! Time flies as they say. I

I submitted the final ad today. It's is by far the biggest, at 4 columns wide by 11 inches high. That amounts to about 35% of a page. Please check it out by loading the Thursday, January 31 issue at http://independentnews.com/.

Also, if you would like a copy of this ad email me at ca4ronpaul@yahoo.com. We have the original files, so you will have the freedom to make any changes you choose.

Want to add a Lunch Invite to the final Ad
As many of you know, our newspaper ad campaign was inspired by the meetups in Jefferson County, IA who used a similar series of newspaper ads. As many of you also know, Ron Paul won Jefferson County, IA.

The Jefferson County ads contained an invitation to voters to meet with members over lunch to discuss Ron Paul. We want to do the same thing. We're considering having a lunch at Casa Orozco in Livermore at 12:30pm, Saturday February 2. The invite would be placed near the bottom of the ad.

We only need $90 more to fully fund this addition to the ad. Please contribute today if you can, as we need to reserve the space by 9am tomorrow morning.

First Draft of the Fourth and Final Ad
We have successfully run a series of of Bay Area ads in the run-up to the primary. Three previous ads have focused on individual platform issues in bullet format. We are preparing a final punch ad that will run on the Thursday prior to the vote.

We chose a narrative format giving the message more teeth. Because of this format and because we wanted to make a large impression with the ad popping off the page, we are continuing with full color and have increased the size. Unfortunately, of course, the cost increased but we believe it is a worthy investment in this important state. We are currently only $470 short and are reaching out for Ron Paul supporter assistance. Please contribute if you can.

If you cannot use the chipin, please email ca4ronpaul@yahoo.com and we can arrange some other way.

Below is the first draft of the proposed ad.

Funding the last ad
Hello everyone,

We are pushing up against the deadline for funding the final ad. As of 9am Saturday morning we need

Tomorrow morning I will pay for the third ad below. Note that the newspaper confirms that I will have to submit an FEC report with every sponsor's name. Further, this contribution WILL count toward your $2300 maximum contribution limit.

If you are not comfortable with this, please email me at ca4ronpaul@yahoo.com, and I will look into reimbursing your account.
